What is the purpose of the psychological testing?
Psychological evaluations (testing) are a valuable asset throughout the treatment process because they provide detailed important information about a child’s natural learning style, including their specific strengths and weaknesses. Evaluations address questions about your child’s current diagnosis, or if your child is having difficulty meeting developmental goals or is exhibiting poor academic performance. Many times children with autism have comorbid disorders, such as ADHD and Specific Learning Disorder. Psychological testing can help to determine whether your child may benefit from additional clinical focus and accommodations to increase their success across settings.
